What is a naturopath?

The naturopath

The naturopath teaches you to manage your lifestyle to reach and maintain your optimal level of vitality.

The naturopath assesses with you your level of vitality, then helps you establish an effective, detailed and personalized program to achieve your health goals.

The naturopath does consultations, leads workshops, gives lectures, gives interviews, writes articles, publishes books, etc.

Naturopathy is the philosophy, art and science that allow humans to achieve and maintain the highest possible level of vitality, by effectively managing their lifestyle.

The word "naturopathy" is made up of "nature" and "path" and means "the way of nature".

The College of Naturopaths of Quebec

Members of the College of Naturopaths of Quebec (CNQ) hold a university level diploma in naturopathy and abide by a rigorous code of ethics.

CNQ members have at least 1,400 hours of training in health sciences.

Consulting a member of the CNQ is a guarantee of quality service.

Founded in 1963, the CNQ is the oldest professional association of naturopaths in Quebec. It has more than 300 members.

The consultation fees of a member of the CNQ are reimbursable, in part or in full, by most insurance companies.
